Westprint supplies these units with CoPilot Live & OziExplorer programs plus maps already installed All you need to do is plug it in, turn it on and drive away: Digital maps included in the cost: Geoscience Raster CD - covering all of Australia, Westprint's Australia's Outback Tracks & Outback Victoria maps in a format compatible with OziExplorer. Other maps that can be loaded at additional cost: Hay River, Eastern Outback map package, Hema's Great Desert Tracks, or any other digital map of your choice. (Not Hema's Australia 4WD Raster map collection - file is too large) The Asus A696 Pocket PC runs Windows CE specially designed for small computers. The display screen is a 3.5 inch TFT LCD full colour, 16 bit touch pad display with stylus for program operation. The Pocket PC has a Windows operating system allowing additional programs such as OziExplorer to be installed, and a wide selection of maps added - either at the time of purchase, or later as required Also installed with the unit is a program called CoPilot Live which operates in a similar manner to the popular Navman and TomTom units. CoPilot Live is an address based navigation program allowing the user to enter any given address and the unit then gives guidance using voice instructions. The mapping for this program is provided by Sensis - a division of Yellow Pages. This is a very good system for populated areas, as Yellow Pages holds address information for almost every location in Australia. CoPilot is an amazing program for travellers following the main roads around or across Australia. One of CoPilot's greatest features is its ability to find the best way out of a city or major town. John (Westprint's map researcher) was totally frustrated with his ability to find his way out of Wollongong so he programmed the unit to go to the next town and within seconds it had calculated the easiest way out of the city. John has since used this feature on several occasions with great success. Each unit comes with a comprehensive manual and help information plus a quick start guide especially prepared by Westprint.
All inclusive price $1,250.00. If you require further maps added to the unit please contact us prior to completing your order, or by phone or fax on 03 5391 1466, fax: 03 5391 1473
