Turn-by-turn voice instructions and on-screen directions will guide you
from your current position to the destination that you have entered. You
can add any number of intermediate way points to your route that you may
have selected from your personal contacts, your favourites and your most
recent destinations as well. If you miss a turn, the Hema Navigator
immediately recalculates your route. You can display the map in night
colours to keep a clear view on the road even when you are driving at
night or in bird view to display the map as you would see it if you
could fly like a bird. In addition to all this, you can navigate to any
of the many points-of-interest like hotels, restaurants and petrol
stations. With QuickSearch technology, finding your destination has
never been easier.
Developed for 4WD enthusiasts by industry professionals, the Hema Navigator features a large touch screen with both Ozi Explorer and Memory-Map GPS software pre-loaded during manufacture. The accompanying SD card is also pre-loaded with Australia wide topographical and 4WD maps. Having both Ozi Explorer and Memory-Map installed gives you the flexibility to choose additional mapping from a comprehensive range of commercially available products. Whether it be a walking map or a marine chart, the ability to use various maps from different map publishers makes the Hema Navigator one of the most versatile portable GPS's on the market. With advance Routing and waypoint tools, planning a trip has never been easier. The Hema Navigator is fully compatible with the PC versions of both OziExplorer and Memory-Map allowing users to create waypoints on the PC and load waypoint files on the Hema Navigator. Trip data is also logged on to file which can be copied back on to the PC for later review. Moving Map Navigation Moving Map provides real time location tracking. Your position is overlaid on to a digital map of that area. Think of it as having a map that is continuously moving with you, following every move you make and displaying geographical data of your surroundings.
